Key Stages Childcare
EYFS
Key Stages Childcare encompasses the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework. EYFS covers the stages of children's development from birth to the end of their first year in school; it is not a formal curriculum but a play based approach to education and care. Our daily timetable is varied and packed with fun activities tailored to enrich each individual child's learning journey.
Following the EYFS children will learn by playing and exploring, being active, and through creative and critical thinking which takes place both indoors and outdoors.
The seven areas of learning are:
-
Communication and language
-
Physical development
-
Personal, social and emotional development
-
Literacy
-
Mathematics
-
Understanding the world
-
Expressive arts and design
